Rob is an experienced leader, strategist, and mentor with a strong track record in people, team, and organisational development. His career began in the retail sector, leading the implementation of automated stock ordering systems to improve operational efficiency.
In 2000, he transitioned into facilities management for one of the UK’s largest rail companies, honing his project management skills while deepening his passion for people and processes.
Rob believes that even the best processes and strategies can only succeed when combined with strong project management and a genuine understanding of people’s needs. He is committed to putting people first, acting as a critical friend and trusted listening ear. He understands that supportive environments built on trust, openness, and honesty, enable individuals and teams to thrive, which in turn drives organisational success. This approach has very much become the culture at Unify, with all team members and partners feeling like they have a job for life, and that they truly belong.
This people-first approach led Rob to become an accredited practitioner of the Insights Discovery model of behaviour, which is the cornerstone of every programme Unify delivers and a great tool for team and leadership development. The model provides an accessible, impactful framework for building self-awareness, enhancing communication, and fostering collaboration across teams.
With 18 years specialising in learning and development, Rob has a proven track record of scaling organisations and delivering measurable impact. As co-founder and Director of Unify Partnership, he leads strategic growth initiatives, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of people, team, and leadership development.
