A data driven approach to team development

When a team is aligned with consensus on expectations, roles, direction, ways of working and what they mean to everyone, team working inevitably improves. Individuals collaborate seamlessly, placing trust in each other and benefitting from complete, evidence-based clarity on where they are, what needs to be done and who is accountable for what and by when.

At the heart of this team coaching programme lies The Unify Team Assessment. This diagnostic has been built around the world-renowned Insights Discovery model of behaviour, making it the perfect complement to any in-office, hybrid or remote team development programme. The framework consists of four key pillars and sixteen facets that offer a means of measuring a team's performance.

When combined with a team coaching programme, the tool creates accountability and gives the team a measurable plan to achieve optimum performance.

Who is it for:

Established or agile teams who work together in person or remotely

About the Assessment.

Informed by Google’s research on great teams, and incorporating the Lencioni model, the Team Assessment celebrates a team’s strengths and successes, whilst revealing areas for development. It highlights differences of opinion, showing where more shared and personal accountability may be required, and the data-driven approach ensures that everyone’s voice is heard.

During this programme, your team will explore:

The Five Dysfunctions of a Team; Through the lens of Patrick Lencioni's Five Dysfunctions of a Team, delegates will explore what it takes to become an outstanding team, and engage in an activity to build the fundamental element of trust.

The Unify Team Assessment; Prior to attending the first workshop, each team member completes an anonymous forty-eight-question online survey based on how they see their team’s performance. The collective results map across the four facets and sixteen key enablers critical to a team’s success.

Team Coaching and Action Planning; The team will be guided through a process to celebrate success, identify challenges and areas to focus on. This team coaching session will drill down into the data and establish tangible actions that will improve the collective performance of the team in the short, mid, and long term.

R.A.C.I; Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed. Accountability remains the most important part of moving a team forward. After the team coaching session has unpacked the data and established ideas and solutions, each action will be grouped, prioritised and given a timescale and owner so nothing gets lost and team development takes its course back in the workplace.

Follow-up and follow-through; Once the team has spent some time back in the business, we bring them together to review what has worked, what has not, and to refresh actions for further development.

Re-assessment; 6 to 8 months after the session, the team will repeat the assessment to map ground travelled and unearth new areas to work on. This will demonstrate ROI and give the team a fresh set of actions to continuously develop as a unit.
