James is an experienced speaker, facilitator, and coach with nearly two decades of experience in people development and a deep understanding of behavioural science. He is passionate about helping individuals, teams, and leaders thrive, supporting organisations to build leadership and team capabilities that drive a measurable and sustainable impact on performance.


With a fascination for anything human, James brings a whole-person philosophy to his work. He believes that to perform at our best - as a team member, a leader, or in everyday life, we need to understand and manage our biological, physiological, neurological, and psychological development.

This belief underpins his ethos and has become the Unify way, guiding how he designs learning solutions and coaching interventions.

James works across all three sectors - private, public, and non-profit and has partnered with teams in Formula 1, pharmaceuticals, banking, education, engineering, design, and technology, among others. This breadth of experience gives him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities organisations face, enabling him to deliver interventions that are both relevant and impactful.

As co-founder and Director of Unify Partnership, James’s purpose is to design, deliver, and support a talented team in meeting clients’ leadership, team, and people development needs. Central to his approach is the Insights Discovery model of behaviour, which provides an accessible and memorable framework for self-awareness and a common language for teams. Combined with tailored interventions, James helps organisations embed learning, enhance collaboration, and create lasting improvements in culture and performance.

James also brings expertise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Cardiac Coherence, and Emotional and Social Intelligence, alongside proficiency with a wide range of psychometric tools. His approach is systemic, practical, empathetic and results-driven.
